Shite...
It was a pretty good weekend. Had loads of food over the Chinese New Year period. Ate 4 meals and slept 5 naps just on the 1st day of CNY. Yay!
Rented 4 DVDs to watch over the same period of time:
1) The Crow: Wicked Prayer
Edward Furlong was pretty bad. The whole show was like an extended Buffy with David Boranez as the over-the-top villian. I love Buffy but this was not a good thing. I love torturing myself with bad B-movies! I love 'em! Max should watch this!

"Who says I overacts? Who?"
2) Envy
Starring Ben Stiller and Jack Black. 2 of my favourite comedians. It's marketed as a black comedy. It's not really funny nor is it twisted enough. Still, it has Rachel Weisz (always a good thing)

"What's a nice place like you doing in a girl like this?"
... and Christopher Walken doing his schtick again. Hey, you don't pay good money to see him do anything else.

3) Batman Begins
This movie actually bears up very well to repeatedly viewing. Maybe, it's just me. An all-round excellent British male cast (and the always dependable Morgan Freeman) and director Chris Nolan. Can't say every much about the female American lead.

"Hey, nice nipples, Mrs. Cruise."

Excellent, excellent movie.
4) Millions
Great show, great kid, great directing. Not overtly melodramatic. It carries just the right amount of childhood-like fantasies and whimsical ideas to carry it through. Alex Etel is a gem of a child actor.

However, I just discovered that my laptop which I'm using can't really process audio recording for SONAR. This fucken sucks and is throwing a spanner in the works for my SOLO album. That's right: SOLO album. Anti-climatic end to the CNY weekend...
